Affray is a public order offence consisting of the fighting of one or more persons in a public place to the terror (in Template:Lang-fr) of ordinary people (the lieges). Depending on their actions, and the laws of the prevailing jurisdiction, those engaged in an affray may also render themselves liable to prosecution for assault, unlawful assembly, or riot; if so, it is for one of these offences that they are usually charged.
Two of them were charged for fighting and kicking each other, and yelling expletives on the train; were happened between Khatib and Yio Chu Kang train stations in court on 21 January 2014. They were under "affray".
Teeng is alleged to have kicked Ng twice in the leg during the fight that broke out on a train travelling between Khatib and Yio Chu Kang at about 11.40pm on Jan 11.
Ng is also accused of grabbing Teeng's body and punching him in the face.
