Kinohimitsu is a proprietary drink brand of Kino Biotech Co., Ltd. [1]. Kino BioTech Co.Ltd is a public listed company [2] in the Taiwan's GreTai Securities Market (GTSM) [3] with its head office in Singapore. This holding company owns 100% stakes in Kino Life Science Ltd, TRN Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd and TRN Marketing Pte Ltd. The Taiwan's GTSM database of public listed companies states that Kino BioTech Co. Ltd has over 4,500 points of sales in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. [4]. Its core brands are Kinohimitsu, Activa and Xpertise. Kinohimitsu offers an extensive range of nutraceutical products focusing on health related and enhancement functional drinks. The Euromonitor International Research's report has reported Kinohimitsu as the number one selling beauty drink and collagen drink across Malaysia and Singapore for three consecutive years (2008 - 2010). The in its Women Section [6] has reported Vicky Zhao, an international artiste and film star, as one of the brand lovers [7] of Kinohimitsu. In the The Star Malaysia (13 March 2012) [8], Tavia Yeung, the most popular TVB Hong Kong actress, admits that she is also a brand lover of Kinohimitsu. Tavia Yeung is the brand ambassador for Kinohimitsu (2012) in Malaysia.

Other internet search engines like [9] have awarded Kinohimitsu Collagen (木の秘密QQ饮) "YOKA 2010 Most Popular Beauty Drink Award" category [10],[11]. Beverage Innovation magazine, [12] reporting on the 2012 Beverage Innovation Functional Drinks Awards in London (March 20, 2012)[13] recorded that Kinohimitsu was the winner of the Best Digestive Health Drinks Award (2012) for its D'Tox Plum Juice [14].
